Soil: In this vineyard the soil is sandy-clayey in nature and the location is hilly, we find a predominance of yellow sands stratified with gravel and marl. Excellent permeability and alkaline pH.
Harvest: The harvest, still manual as tradition dictates, takes place in small baskets so as not to damage the berries.
Vinification: The first vinification operations are de-stemming and crushing, followed by fermentation for about 10 days, with daily pumping over maintaining a constant temperature between 28 ° C / 30 ° C, for the entire duration of the fermentation itself. After this period, we proceed with the racking and malolactic fermentation, again in vats, to then begin the aging in tonneaux for 30 months.

Alcohol content: From 13.5% to 15.5% depending on the vintage.
Gastrometric pairings: Barbera goes well with structured first courses, and meat dishes. Very pleasant company, both at the table and after lunch.

Organoleptic characteristics: Intense ruby red color. Scent Full of spices and wild berries, red fruits. Taste Dry, powerful but fresh, due to the good acidity of the barbera, balanced and long aftertaste.
